A very large and bold screenprint by Moebius.

This rare offering published as this gorgeous screenprint on BFK Rives paper in 1986, as well as appearing in line drawing format in the seminal art book 'Starwatcher'.

The warrior riding the beast through the plains with his vulture bird is reminiscent of a young Lord Yuppa from Hayao Miyazaki's epic animation Nausicaa - which had a deep impact on Moebius, resulting in not only a joint exhibition in 2004 but also in Moebius naming his youngest daughter after the Heroine: Nausicaa.

The parallels, links and influences between these two masters of fantasy are clear in this beautiful piece.

The printed area of this print covers 445mm x 450mm, the paper is watermarked and it is hand signed by the Artist.
