This is the unique original Watercolour painting by Eric Parker.

Top image: Prince Charles Edward Stuart, the Young Pretender watches a battle between the French and English navies on the 9th July 1745, safely away from the action on board the French ship Doutelle.

The right panel shows sailors checking the height between the decks of a ship that had been captured to see if it was suitable under Navy regulations.

Bottom panel shows the first action in the campaign against Spain in 1747 as Fort Louis Hispaniola in the West Indies was captured.
