Robinson has adjusted to life on the island. He is hunting and growing corn. He has built a boat and occasionally sails out from the island until one day a storm almost devours him before throwing him back onto the shore. Robinson finds a footprint in the sand and begins to watch vigilantly for the owner of the foot. He discovers some natives and rescues a young man from a beating. Robinson takes the young man, Friday, in and teaches him English. One day he spies a ship struggling at sea and lights a fire to help the boat.

This is the third instalment of Look & Learn's adaptation of Robinson Crusoe, printed over two pages, published in issue 546 of Look & Learn, 1st July 1972.
